Mother of Amber from 'Amber Alerts' launches social network

(DigitalJournal.com)- Remember when neighbours sat on the porch watching over their street while the kids played? Last month a new social media network, Porch Patrol, launched and it focuses on those older times and family values.

Porch Patrol is a passion project of Donna Norris, the mother of Amber Hagerman (the girl behind "Amber Alerts") and Angie Camp. The site gives adults and kids a place online that encourages a positive experience, just like the neighbourhood of days gone by. Read more here…
